Danby Wiske Campsite & Caravan Site

We have two camping and caravan fields, with 10 bookable pitches for 5 caravans/motorhomes and up to 5 tents. Each pitch is large to enable as much space as possible. We also enable people to choose their own pitch on arrival

Most of the pitches are grass, with one hardstanding. EHU is 10 amp, and if you prefer to use solar or go electric free, we deduct the price of the hook up (£5) from the nightly rate for caravans, campers and motorhomes. 

Our facilities consist of two toilets, and two showers with excellent pressure and oodles of hot water. There is also a camp kitchen with washing up sink, microwave, kettle, fridge and freezer. Here is where you’ll find the map of the world showing where our visitors join us from. As the Coast to Coast National Trail passes our site, we see so many national and international visiors, many calling in to our tuck shop for home baking or an ice cream. 

Well behaved dogs are very welcome on a lead at all times (as we have chickens that sometimes wander by). 

The site is set in two acres, with a further 5 acres to wander. The sheep and lambs are in our other fields, which the farmer doesn’t mind children feeding. Just ask us for sheep nuts!

We don’t accept groups, as we are a quiet site at the end of a quiet village.
