Welcome to Church Holme Camping and B&B

Church Holme at Danby Wiske is a friendly greenfield site surrounded by nature and farmland. The camping fields are set in an acre and a half, with the friendly sheep having the remaining 5 acres to graze. All pitches are grass (bar one hardstanding) and are large to allow for a more relaxed feel with a dedicated paddock just for walkers. Now also with a two ensuite bedroom B&B annex. 

The aim is for everyone who visits is to feel a warm welcome, but if you are looking for a clubhouse, adults only site, or tarmac, then Church Holme isn’t the place for you. If you are seeking a retreat for a piece of the countryside with chickens, sheep and cattle for company at the end of a long days coast to coast walking, or local sightseeing, then this is the place for you.

As part of the BBC Countryfile Plant for Britain campaign, we planted over 200 tress across our site. In 2024 we were shortlisted for the The Great Outdoors Magazine Campsite of the Year award.
