Directions to Danby Wiske campsite

Directions

From the A1 at Leeming Bar take the A684 in the direction of Northallerton. Passing through Morton on Swale and Ainderby Steeple. In about half a mile turn left when signposted towards Yafforth. From Yafforth a single track road takes you to Danby Wiske by turning left at the T junction and then right in 100m signposted toward Danby Wiske.

Alternatively, to avoid the single track road, turn right at the T junction in Yafforth towards Northallerton, turning left at the second roundabout on to the A167 by Wickes and the Asda petrol station. 

When approaching from Northallerton, at the roundabout just after the level crossing and by the Asda petrol station, at the north end of the town, turn right in the direction of Darlington on the A167.

In approximately one mile, just after passing Strikes Garden Centre on your right, bear left when signposted to Danby Wiske. On arrival in Danby Wiske, turn left by the village green, on to Mounstrall Lane, the Yafforth to Danby Wiske Road. We are situated opposite the children’s play park and next door to the church. When arriving at the site, the entrance is accessed from the lane to the church, the play park on your right and the entrance to the site on the left and clearly signposted.

On arrival please stop at the tuck shop to collect your welcome leaflet. We may not be able to greet you, so the leaflet will tell you all you need to know. We will come to say hello as soon as we can.
